Responsibilities
The Enterprise Account Team Unit (ATU) team focuses on accelerating Microsoft’s market share across Enterprise segment clients by driving an industry-differentiated value proposition through our account teams and partners. The team enables our customer-facing account teams to drive digital transformation by engaging with C-suite and line of business decision makers and generate new conversations, opportunities, and engagements. The team has three primary functions: build the strategy & plan, communicate the plan with the field sales organization, and support role execution and gather feedback to improve. We work with both our Strategic Account and Major Account teams along with the diverse sales communities across the globe.
This is an important role in the Enterprise Commercial organization and is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about infusing business decisions with data-driven insights. Curiosity, an exploratory nature, as well as a keen eye for detail will be key to success in the role.
The Business Analyst and Program Manager role is responsible for leading business analysis and developing data-driven insights that contribute to Enterprise ATU strategy, planning, and execution. You will identify business and operational gaps, recommend business improvements, and lead selected business excellence projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead business analysis projects of business and operational performance and develop data-driven insights that inform business decision making across strategy, planning, and execution.
Lead ATU business excellence projects and deliver improvements.
Manage and evolve a set of Enterprise ATU operational KPIs to track key business performance measures, identify gaps and assess impact of business process improvements.
Collaborate closely with the Enterprise ATU team and Advanced Analytics team to identify the areas that require focus, conduct deeper analysis, and develop recommendations for business improvement.
Work closely with the Finance team to track and analyze monthly and quarterly business performance, highlight areas of strength and weakness, call out trends, and help Enterprise Commercial leadership understand the drivers of performance.
Partner with Enterprise Sales Excellence, field operations roles (e.g., BSO), GSMO, M&O stakeholders, and WCB Teams to ensure deep understanding of issues and challenges for the ATU, gather insights and feedback to improve.
Engage field teams, as needed, to better understand business drivers.
Qualifications
5+ years' experience in financial analysis, business analytics, and business performance management
High level understanding of business insights, measures, scorecards,
Working knowledge of Enterprise business
Demonstrated ability to apply data-driven insights to business decision making
Experience leading business projects with stakeholders across multiple organizations, and driving to successful execution
Highly collaborative and proven ability to work with a diverse team
Effective communication and program management skills
Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and strong cross-boundary collaborator
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required - MBA desirable
