Ability to design for memory/computation efficiency and debug related issues
Description
We are looking for a proactive and hardworking software engineer to join our team and help design and implement APIs in the media playback, editing, and export areas. You will work closely with expert team members in crafting Swift APIs that fit with the Cocoa Touch as well as SwiftUI programming models. And you will meet the challenge of improving the performance and software quality of our cross-platform media framework. To be successful in this role, you need to be versatile and able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
Education & Experience
BS or MS in CS/CE or equivalent
Additional Requirements
Nice, but not required:
Experience in using or developing media software libraries, especially for mobile platforms, is helpful
Experience using AVFoundation, VideoToolbox or AVKit framework is a plus
Proficiency with Cocoa and Cocoa Touch framework usage is a plus
Experience in developing and maintaining an API for multiple clients is desired
Familiarity with inner workings of media systems or audio/video codecs is preferred
