Our team creates and maintains deployment solutions that are used for deploying \ updating every Windows 10 device on the planet to the latest version including Desktop, Server, Holographic, Windows IoT as well as Azure VMs \ host OSes running in the datacenters. We enable OEMs to manufacture new devices with Windows 10 and Enterprises IT admins to effectively deploy\manage Windows 10 to their organizations.
Responsibilities
The Data & Intelligence role specifically involves creating software to process the incoming data, develop key metrics \ measures, identify problems, and represent data in easy to consume visualizations. You will be responsible for mining the data, deriving insights using statistical models & machine learning, you will also be responsible for building and/or contributing to tooling that will and can help us derive these insights from data. These insights will ultimately enhance our ability to prevent, detect and respond to issues faster, while influencing future design choices for the various features and technologies. The ideal candidate should be an excellent team player, quick learner and excited to partner and work collaboratively with teams across Microsoft such as Azure, Office, HoloLens, and large external ISVs \ OEMs as well.
Qualifications
Preferred Skills:
BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical/engineering discipline.
3+ years of experience in software design and development.
Preferred qualifications include:
Experience with Data Analytics/Big Data/Machine Learning towards providing deeper understanding of end to end customer experiences.
Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages such as C#, Python, PowerShell.
Ability to drive scenarios end-to-end across multiple components.
Collaborate across multiple product groups within the company.
Demonstrates critical thinking skills, strong problem-solving skills, a drive for results, and is self-motivated.
Experience with Azure tools and services, Spark, HDInsight is a plus.
