As a Business Program Manager in the Microsoft Consulting Services Sales & Go-to-Market, you will collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts across the organization with planning and execution. This role is ideal for someone passionate about continuous improvement and effectiveness and would like to gain a broad and deep understanding of the Sales & Go-to-Market charter.

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Program Manager who will be essential in driving high impact engagements, in both planful and dynamic ways. In the MCS Sales & Go-to-Market team, each day is different, and this role requires an individual to be self-motivated, self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and excellent at communications in a fast paced environment all the while driving high quality results. As a part of the MCS Sales & GTM Business Management team, it will be essential to uphold the team’s philosophy to operate with the highest levels of integrity, inclusivity, and trust.

The role reports to the Chief of Staff of MCS Sales & GTM and will be responsible for supporting the VP in managing strategic deals and sales prioritization process. The Business Program Manager will exemplify excellent program management skills to ensure tasks are tracked and executed. The desired candidate will have a sales and/or sales operations background in a large, matrixed environment with a proven track record of streamlining processes for account teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to collaborate across a complex matrix and functional boundaries to ensure delivery happens in line with business requirements and manage communication within and across project teams whilst proactively identifying risks and mitigations.

  • Systems thinker able to manage a high degree of complexity and to distill information into simple messages, able to think both strategically at a global level as well as to effectively develop key processes.

  • Leveraging the data analytics required for prioritization, execution, and landing.

  • Self-starter who thrives in situations with ambiguity, including drive to build clarity.

  • A sense of urgency and commitment to solving problems across large organizations with diverse perspectives and goals, always with serving Microsoft’s customers and partners in mind.

  • Experience applying decision and prioritization frameworks.

  • Able to rapidly gain/build trust and confidence of internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in business management, business operations, sales enablement, business planning, and/or business strategy

  • 3+ years' experience in customer facing roles in the field or other sales operations roles

  • Strong program management skills with the ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, combined with a strategic customer-centric orientation.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in management or technology discipline, OR equivalent industry experience

  • Experience partnering with executives, both internally and externally

  • Ability to travel ~25% of the time

  • Location: Remote position located anywhere in the US
