Azure Security, Risk & Compliance (ASRC) is looking for a Business Operations Associate to drive business operations across the organization; partner with the Chief of Staff to architect, develop, and execute the rhythm of business. This is a highly visible position reporting to the VP, ASRC.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the process and strategy for ASRC’s newly launched system architecture and the customized tools hosting the compliance dashboard and scorecards that, when utilized and implemented adequately within the organization, will help propel the business forward and drive towards the overall mission of making Azure secure, sustainable and resilient.
Capable of technical deep dives into service tools and systems design, data processing and monitoring to help introduce workflow changes, add additional layer of security and standardize the process implementation across the broader audience while closely partnering with the engineering teams.
Act as the primary point of contact for ASRC to field the security incidents and diligently communicate the identified risks in advance and support execution for mitigation plans with the team.
Manage and drive special projects within Security, Risk & Compliance domain.
Collaboration: Expert collaborations and great interpersonal skills with an ability to work and execute effectively across diverse teams and partner with the key stakeholders across Microsoft.
Great design and problem-solving skills, with a strong emphasis on quality and engineering excellence

Communication: An ability to conduct insightful, multi-faceted conversations with technical decision makers inside Microsoft. An ability to conceptualize UI improvements quickly and convey them to others in a clear, effective and motivating manner.
Partner with the Chief of Staff in the below organizational tasks:
Drive the end-to-end planning and budget processes and core priority setting
Create and manage the rhythm of business (ROB), including all-hands, staff meetings, business reporting, etc. to help the business run smoothly and effectively
Drive evolution of the business through simplification and transforming activitiesWork across multiple teams to help connect the moving parts in a very dynamic and fluid environment
Build financial, headcount, and KPI reports with meaningful and insightful commentary and analysis to enable the organization to operate effectively
Track performance against budget and forecast and identify potential risks and opportunities through variance and trend analysis
Qualifications
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of consulting, or program management experience in the IT industry;
BS in Business, Computer Science, or a related field;
Strong attention to detail, passion for strategic thinking and problem solving, and ability to deliver rich, business insights to drive business decisions;
Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to translate ideas into clear, high impact communications (e.g. emails, papers);
Excellent problem structuring, identification, and resolution;
Proven cross-functional project management and leadership skills, leading to positive organizational change;
Ability to work in a productive, collaborative, and cooperative way with a variety of people
Ability to influence across functional teams (e.g. engineering, operations) and at senior leadership/executive levels
Ability to maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
